Structure	Meaning – Usage	Example
N1はN2です。	N1 is N2	私（わたし）は 先生（せんせい）です。 I’m teacher.
N1はN2ではありません。	N1 is not N2	私（わたし）（わたし）は先生（せんせい）ではありません。 I’m not teacher.
N1はN2ですか。	Is  N1  N2?	あなたは先生（せんせい）ですか。 Are you teacher?
N1のN2	possession	私（わたし）の本/　あなたのかばん。 the book is mine/ the bag is yours.
Nも	N also… Adverb that is used to replace the information of the first clause which is repeated in the second clause.	私（わたし）はベトナム人（じん）です。 I’m a Vietnamese タンさんもベトナム人（じん）です。 Mr Tan is also a Vietnamese
∼さん	used after name or family name of a Japanese to express respect,さん isn’t used with the name of speaker him-self.	山田(やまだ)さん、田中(たなか)さん Mrs. Yamada, Mr. Tanaka
∼さい	use さい after number to describe ordinal	私（わたし）は１９歳（さい）です。 I’m 19 yearss old.
